Rehab Medical, a leading provider of custom mobility solutions, proudly announces the launch of its seventh mobility solutions center in Florida, following its successful expansion into the city of Jacksonville.
With more than 4.5 million residents grappling with disabilities, Rehab Medical is steadfast in its commitment to extending its life-enhancing mobility solutions to all Floridians.
Leading the Jacksonville office will be Sales Manager and Assistive Technology Professional (ATP), Tonya Allen, along with Branch Manager, Igor Rodriguez.
Allen, who joined Rehab Medical as a sales representative in the fall of 2016, served mobility users in the southeastern and eastern side of Kentucky for nearly a decade. Following her recent promotion, Allen transitioned to the Jacksonville office.
Rodriguez, who joined Rehab Medical as a service technician in the summer of 2022, served mobility users in the northern and western side of Florida. Quickly climbing the ranks, Rodriguez earned the branch manager title and is slated to oversee the company’s southern territories.
"I am extremely excited about the new Jacksonville office and the potential that North-East Florida has,” said Paul Martin, regional vice president of sales.
“With Tonya and Igor leading the sales and operations management team we have the foundation for success," continued Paul. "With our patient first approach, we will continue Rehab Medical’s mission of improving lives in the greater Jacksonville area."
Not only does this expansion improve the lives of mobility users, but also the lives of working-age Floridians, as the company plans to staff five additional members for office operations. With the company’s rapid growth, it’s put a heavier emphasis on talent acquisition and career development. A new website distinctly covers how the company improves the lives of employees.
The Jacksonville office is the third of Rehab Medical’s planned territory expansions for the 2024 calendar year. Last month the company opened a new office in Dallas, Texas, making it the company’s third location in the Lone Star state.
