Rehab Medical claims the #5 spot on IBJ’s annual ranking, reflecting growth, innovation, and commitment to patient care.
Rehab Medical, a leading provider of custom mobility solutions, has once again earned recognition from the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ), securing the number 5 spot on the publication’s 2026 list of Largest Medical Device/Product Developers in the Greater Indianapolis area. The rankings, determined by the number of Indiana-area employees, reflect the companies’ continued growth, innovation, and dedication to improving patient outcomes.
Following Rehab Medical’s 20th anniversary, the company’s position on the list can be attributed to its new service model for when equipment needs attention. The new model shortens the process from referral to resolution to less than 13 days, allowing mobility users to experience minimal downtime.
Additionally, Rehab Medical opened its first New York location after acquiring Consolidated Medical and expanded its services in Ohio after acquiring Boomers Medical Equipment, DBA Risch Home Health.
“We are proud to see Rehab Medical recognized on this list as it reflects the consistent manner in which we have approached growth,” said Kevin Gearheart, Rehab Industries Partner and President. “We have been intentional about building organizations that grow responsibly while staying anchored to our mission to Improve Lives. As we continue to expand, that focus will continue to guide us.”
Looking ahead, Rehab Medical is actively hiring to support continued expansion and innovation. With a range of open positions across sales, technical, and operational roles, Rehab Medical is focused on building teams that will shape the future of mobility solutions.
