Rehab Medical, one of the nation’s leading providers of complex rehab technology (CRT), announced the acquisition of Consolidated Medical, Inc., a long-standing complex rehab provider based in New Windsor, New York. The acquisition, finalized January 1, 2026, establishes Rehab Medical’s first location in the northeastern United States and marks the company’s 31st office across 19 states.

Consolidated Medical has served New York communities for more than 50 years, earning a reputation for personalized care, clinical expertise, and long-term patient relationships. Through this acquisition, patients and providers will continue working with the same local team while gaining access to Rehab Medical’s expanded resources, specialized mobility expertise, and nationwide infrastructure.

“Choosing Rehab Medical was about protecting our patients and ensuring they continue to receive the same level of care they’ve trusted for decades,” said Doug Crana, CEO of Consolidated Medical. “This partnership allows our legacy to continue, while giving patients access to additional resources that support their long-term mobility and independence.”

What This Acquisition Means for Providers and Patients

Patients and referral partners can expect continuity of care with added support:

  • The same trusted care team: All Consolidated Medical employees will remain in place, including clinical, technical, and administrative staff.

  • No disruption to care: Existing patients will continue receiving service, support, and equipment from the same local professionals.

  • Expanded resources through Rehab Medical: Patients benefit from a patient-first, clinician-driven approach, advanced insurance navigation, expanded insurance network, specialized complex rehab expertise, and coordinated support from evaluation through delivery and service.

Patients who previously received equipment through Consolidated Medical can continue to obtain service by contacting the Rehab Medical Service Team at (866) 424-4500.

Seamless Integration and Leadership Support

Rehab Medical is working closely with the Consolidated Medical team to ensure a smooth transition without interruption to care or relationships. All eight Consolidated Medical employees will remain with the organization, including Office Manager Dianne Bruschetti, who has served patients and providers for more than 30 years.

From Rehab Medical, Jason Neu, vice president of regional sales, will provide sales leadership, while Ryan Weinrich, vice president of field operations, will oversee operational support.

“This acquisition represents a shared commitment to people-first care,” said Patrick McGinley, CEO of Rehab Medical. “Consolidated Medical has an extraordinary legacy, and our responsibility is to honor that trust while expanding access to high-quality complex rehab services for New York communities.”

Existing patients and provider partners will receive direct communication with additional details in early February.
