Rehab Medical Makes Indiana Chamber of Commerce 'Best Places to Work in Indiana' List for Third Time

Rehab Medical, one of the nation’s leading providers of custom mobility solutions, has made the Indiana Chamber of Commerce Best Places to Work in Indiana list for the third time. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce recently announced its 2024 recipients for its 19th year. These awards recognize and celebrate businesses for creating cultures that attract and retain employees.

“In order to fulfil our vision of being the national leader of custom advanced medical equipment, we must have the best employees,” said Vice President of Human Resources Jason Carney. “To have the best employees, we must be a premier employer. This award represents the hard work everyone does to make Rehab Medical an employer-of-choice in Indiana and 17 other states.”

Rehab Medical’s mission is to improve and positively impact the lives of its patients, partners, and employees. By including its employees as its key customer, Rehab Medical has built a culture that cultivates employee growth and fosters opportunities for employees to have fulfilling careers built around its mission. This includes employing a team that is dedicated to employee development and engagement. By having this team solely focus on this, Rehab Medical has improved the lives of its employees through four distinct programs:

  1. Core Value Program

    1. The core value program encourages employees to nominate their peers monthly when they exemplify any one of the company’s three core values. Nominees are recognized through internal newsletters and awarded core value pins, all of which culminates with a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip at the end of the year.

  2. Financial Wellness Program

    1. The financial wellness program provides employees with access to free financial resources for debt reduction, tuition reimbursement, or establishing good financial habits.

  3. Leadership Development Program

    1. The leadership development program provides new and emerging leaders with opportunities to refine their leadership skills and create career development opportunities.

  4. Mentorship Program

    1. The mentorship program helps new employees get acclimated to a new workplace and develop more effectively during the onboarding phase of employment.

Awardees will be formally recognized at a public celebration scheduled for Wednesday May 8, 2024, by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce in partnership with TrueU.
